Barra 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir

The organically grown fruit for this single vineyard reserve Pinot Noir was handpicked from our home ranch, Redwood Valley Vineyards in mid-October 2023. The fruit was delivered to our winery 5 miles down the road where it was destemmed, crushed and moved to stainless steel tanks where it underwent primary and secondary fermentation. The resulting wine was then racked to French oak barrels where it was aged for 7 months (25% new oak, balance in neutral barrels).

A captivating ruby color with a glowing, youthful vibrancy. On the nose, an enchanting bouquet of ripe raspberries, tart cherries, and delicate floral notes, accented by hints of earthiness and subtle spice. The palate greets you with a luscious combination of bright red fruit flavors, harmoniously balanced with refreshing acidity and light tannins. As it unfolds, nuances of vanilla and a touch of oak provide complexity, leading to a silky-smooth finish.
